This pop/rock group formed in Birmingham during the mid 1960s from an earlier line-up called "The Virus". Gift changed their name to "Blackfoot Sue" in 1971 and the following year recorded their original composition 'Standing In The Road' that became a major hit single for them in the U.K. charts.
